DESIGN: THE PROBLEM AND THE SOLUTION.
The imperative for design education

29 March 2017
10.00-5.30pm
The Design Museum
224-238 Kensington High Street, London, W8 6AG

Innovation and advances in design and technology are transforming industry, society and workplaces. Creativity, design thinking and employability skills are all key to supporting our young people as they emerge from education into this shifting environment.

How can we, as educators, cultural providers and policy makers, work in the current educational and political context, to ensure that young people are gaining these vital skills in school and beyond, preparing them for future success?

Join us for a day of discussion and participatory activity to explore this idea and find solutions – see draft programme for more information.

Design Ventura is the Design Museum’s flagship design and enterprise learning project run in partnership with Deutsche Bank as part of the youth engagement programme, Born to Be. Now it in its eighth year the project has seen over 47,000 students participate nationally in 700 schools.

Please email ventura@designmuseum.org if you are interested in attending.
