Design Ventura 2017 Shortlisting Panel
Following submission date – 15 November 2017 at 5pm – all entries will be carefully reviewed by our Shortlisting panel of judges. They will have the difficult task of selecting the top ten submitted ideas for Design Ventura 2017. You can read more about them below (in alphabetical order):
Angus Montgomery is a creative writer at the Government Digital Service. He works with teams across GDS to help them define and articulate their work. Before joining GDS he was editor of Design Week, where he led the title as it moved to being a digital publication. He has also worked for the Press Association and the Architects’ Journal. He studied history and journalism and his writing has appeared in a number of newspapers, magazines and websites.
After studying print textile design at Central Saint Martins, Chloe Glews developed her interest in material innovation at sculptural design practice Giles Miller Studio, before becoming a designer at multidisciplinary design consultancy forpeople. As part of the Vision & Strategy team at forpeople, Chloe develops concepts and visual inspiration for projects serving some of the world’s most innovative companies.
Greg Hodgson is the founder of digital education consultancy, Edge Gain. He leads the team that produces online courses in digital design for clients including Adobe Systems and The Design Museum for more than 40,000 global learners. Working closely with multi national companies, museums, exam boards and government bodies, Edge Gain has developed pioneering courses, which successfully blend virtual learning, industry expertise and outstanding teaching. Greg regularly advises, presents and trains on the best ways to implement digital learning in and beyond the classroom.
Jo Milton is a Three Dimensional Designer with more than 25 years experience working predominately on interior projects. Jo is currently part of the management team, working as a Senior Bid Coordinator for Aldworth James and Bond who are creative build specialists and has been a design industry expert for the Design Ventura Project since it’s inception in 2010. Jo has a BA(Hons) in Three Dimensional Design – Furniture and Related Products from Ravensbourne College, and an MA in Curating Contemporary Design from Kingston University.
Odun Fadahunsi is a consummate technology and data risk management professional with over 17 years’ experience gained in Big 4 consultancy and top tier retail banking, investment management and investment banking mostly in Financial Services Industry across Europe and Africa. Odun’s experience is accompanied by Project Management Professional, Chartered Management Accountancy, Chartered Global Management Accountancy qualification; Investment Management Certificate, ITIL V3 Foundation and Certified Information Systems Auditor qualifications. He is a Risk Manager at Deutsche Bank currently undertaking his PhD in Computer science on a part-time basis.
