Deutsche Bank

Bio

Until very recently I lead the Unified Communications team at Deutsche Bank, with responsibility for the strategic direction of real time communications and collaboration technologies and their place in the Digital Workplace. My team was leading the transformation towards ‘Unified Communications & Collaboration’ within the bank, from the implementation of large scale enterprise class collaboration networks to integration of these technologies into the ‘new workplace strategy’ at the core of the bank’s award winning, LEED certified buildings.

I have over 20 years corporate IT experience gained across a broad range of companies from small software houses to large ‘Blue Chip’ organisations in a diverse range of sectors including manufacturing, software, retail and media.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2005 I co-founded theITpractice, a consultancy focussed on the videoconferencing industry, providing strategy development advice to enterprise end users and manufacturers alike. I held a number of senior IT management positions prior to founding theITpractice, most notably with BBC Worldwide and Kingfisher plc. ; developing and implementing enterprise IT infrastructure.
