We are very lucky to have the following experts joining us to help select the top ten Design Ventura schools.
Scott Barwick is an associate at MAP, a London-based creative consultancy that specialises in strategy-led industrial design. MAP’s clients include some of the most innovative and well known companies in the world such as Google and Panasonic alongside ambitious growth companies such as Kano and Sabi.
Scott graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2007 with a degree in furniture and product design and then worked at leading design firms PearsonLloyd and Marc Newson. He joined Barber and Osgerby as senior designer and developed some of the studios most iconic furniture and products such as the 2012 Olympic Torch, Filo Sofa, and Four Leaves Coat stand before being made associate at MAP in 2012.
Irenie Design Project Leader at Barber & Osgerby’s architecture practice Universal Design Studio. After studying architecture at the Architectural Association she initially worked with Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby in 2003. Day-to-day Irenie works creatively across all areas of the Barber & Osgerby companies.
Rebecca, Head of Retail at the Design Museum, has 14 years’ experience in retail management including working for BRAC the largest NGO in Bangladesh, running her own fair trade retail partnership, and management roles at Tate Modern, Farrow & Ball and the National Portrait Gallery.
Steven is Retail Operations Manager at the Design Museum Shop.
He has a passionate interest in all forms of design and has been involved with Design Ventura since its first year.
