The Ventura Competition Winners were announced at the celebratory event on 27 January at the Design Museum. The event was hosted by Sebastian Conran with Haberdashers’ Aske’s Hatcham College, Lewisham scooping the first prize. The Year 9 pupils won the award for their innovative ‘Dove Bunting’ design which offers an attractive new take on traditional flag bunting using recycled materials to create colourful flags. The winning team will receive a £1000 bursary to develop the bunting, which will be sold exclusively in the Design Museum Shop from Summer 2011.
